Shock Value on plaadiprodutsent ja räppar Timbalandi teine soolostuudioalbum. Kokku on see tema viies album. Albumil on pikk nimekiri külalisesinejatest, nende hulgas Fall Out Boy, Justin Timberlake, The Hives, Keri Hilson, Nelly Furtado, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, OneRepublic, Elton John, Magoo ja Nicole Scherzinger.

Müük ja sertifikaadid

Album debüteeris USA Billboard 200 edetabelis 5. kohal 138 000 müüdud eksemplariga. Suurbritannias debüteeris see kümnendal kohal ja 22. juuli nädalal tõusis see viiendale kohale. Seejärel jõudis album Suurbritannias teisele kohale ja Prantsusmaal kolmeteistkümnendale.

2007. aasta augustis sertifitseeris CRIA albumi Kanadas plaatinaks (100 000 ühikut). Austraalia ARIA albumite edetabelis sai "Shock Value" üle 210 000 eksemplari müügiga 3x plaatina sertifikaadi.

BBC Radio 1 2007. aasta lõpu edetabelis oli "Shock Value" Ühendkuningriigis üheksandaks enim ostetud albumiks.
