Temple of the Dog oli Ameerika rokkbänd, mis moodustati aastal 1990 Chris Cornell Soundgardenist. Ta alustas bändi austuseks oma sõbrale Andrew Woodile. Wood suri 19. märtsil 1990 heroiini üledoosi, päeval, mil Cornell tuurilt tagasi tuli.
Enne surma oli Andrew Malfunkshuni ja Mother Love Bone'i laulja.
Bändi liikmeteks olid Stone Gossard rütmikitarril, Jeff Ament basskitarril (mõlemad endised Mother Love Bone'i liikmed), Mike McCready soolokitarril, Matt Cameron trummidel ja Eddie Vedder, kes andis taustavokaali.
